Calling for a convention of states.convention of statesThe Senate State Affairs Committee took a major step on one of Gov. Greg Abbott’s four emergency items when it approved Senate Joint Resolution 2, calling for a national convention to allow states to propose amendments to the U.S. Constitution. Only in Austin…austin marathonOn Sunday, 18,000 runners from 50 states and over 30 countries participated in the 2017 Austin Marathon, which included marathon, half marathon and 5K races.
